Official Terry County criminal records must be requested from the government office that keeps them. The contacts below separate sheriff booking and report files from felony, misdemeanor, and fine-only court records. This private reference site cannot receive a public-information request or produce an official record.

This Is Not a Government Office. This private resource cannot retrieve a record, conduct an official check, correct or remove government data, or accept a Texas expunction filing.

Need an Official Record?

Use the Terry County custodian tied to the record:

  • Felony files: District Clerk, 500 W. Main St., Room 209E, Brownfield; 806-637-4202; counter hours 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Class A and B misdemeanors: County Clerk, 500 W. Main St., Room 105, Brownfield; 806-637-8551
  • Class C and traffic matters: Terry County Justice of the Peace, 507B W. Main St.; 806-637-4757, or the issuing municipal court
  • Arrest, booking, jail, and warrant records: Terry County Sheriff, 1311 Tahoka Road; mail to P.O. Box 1106; 806-637-2212; fax 806-637-9424
  • Public state criminal history: Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division
  • Incident and police reports: the sheriff, Brownfield Police, Brownfield ISD Police, DPS, or other agency that created the report

The sheriff does not publish separate records-counter hours, a direct records email, or a local copy fee. Call 806-637-2212 before visiting and ask how to submit a narrow Texas Public Information Act request. Court copy and certification questions should go to the appropriate clerk instead.
